I was overwhelmed, frustrated, and confused. There are so MANY online gurus who promise you the world, and I wasn’t sure who or what I should listen to. Other attorneys told me I wouldn’t make a lot of money, that it would be hard for me to practice intellectual property law, and I wouldn’t be able to connect with my clients. I was battling my own self-defeating thoughts all while caring for an eight month old! It was a dark, yet exciting time.

After B-School, I was featured on VH1 as a celebrity attorney within two months! I booked two national speaking engagements and was named a Top 40 under 40 attorney in the state of North Carolina while appearing on the local news twice. And I successfully helped TWENTY-FIVE businesswomen protect their intellectual property!!!

Now, I’ve brought on two team members to assist with handling my cases and social media. I have strong branding and a solid voice in many online communities. I’m helping survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation start and monetize their own businesses. Before B-School, I didn’t even think I could help survivors. I was so limited in my thinking that I assumed I could only help if I was a criminal attorney. Now that has all changed. I have strong systems in place in my business and am able to serve my clients clearly, respectfully, and with so much joy!
