I joined B-School when I was 22 years old. I hadn’t even been in the workforce for a full year, but I just took the leap and it all happened very quickly.

I was living in London and after three months, I was able to quit my job and after five months I moved back home with my husband to Portugal where we started our web design agency. That was a big deal for us because in Portugal there aren’t many job prospects in the design world. But now that we had our own business, we could move wherever we wanted. And not only that, but create jobs for other Portuguese people and give them better conditions and better wages.

In five years, we’ve managed to generate over $1.2 million, which still blows my mind. I have a team of 10. Our work has won awards. We’ve been featured in books and I’ve spoken in front of 3,000 people and even shared the stage with Brendan Burchard. I’ve had so many pinch-me moments since joining B-School.

When I think about everything that’s changed since I started B-School, it blows my mind. It makes me emotional to think about it. I’m so grateful for the life that I get to live now. That I can define success on my own terms, that I can work with the clients who I love and do the work that excites me most.

Because of B-School. I get to do what I love every day.

If you feel butterflies in your stomach, that’s probably a good sign. It means that you know you’re meant for something more. And B-School will definitely be a springboard to that. So trust your gut, listen to it, and go for it. When it comes to your gut, there’s no going wrong.
