I struggled for 20 years as an environmental educator and teaching artist. I wanted to make a difference in the world, inspiring people to learn more about nature, but my market was limited to the small rural towns where I lived. I didn’t grow up with the technologies available to us today, and I had never even considered the possibility of taking my business online, let alone scaling it globally. After my first year of B-School, it all made perfect sense.

I have now participated in B-School for four consecutive years, and the program gets better every time. B-School took me from driving a horse and buggy to driving a sports car! Not only have I tackled my fear of technology, but I have even learned how to shoot, edit, and produce my nature education videos. I have implemented a series of successful nature-sketching retreats to tropical destinations; I have spoken and taught at conferences and festivals from Alaska to Jamaica; I have created a series of online courses, and I am now developing a membership site for families to learn about nature through the practice of sketching and journaling.

B-School goes way beyond practical steps for success. The ongoing support makes me feel like part of the family. I wasn’t simply forgotten once my I paid for my tuition. My self-confidence has grown, and I am now able to share my knowledge and passion for nature with folks around the world.
