Affiliate Marketing Specialist

This role is responsible for cultivating and maintaining affiliate partnerships among strategic business partners, developing and implementing revenue generating strategies, and overseeing infrastructure and operational elements/execution.

What You’ll be Doing In this Role:

  • Create, maintain, and grow strong relationships with existing, potential, and new affiliate partners
  • Monitor affiliate activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to maximize affiliate results
  • Develop and optimize infrastructure and operational elements needed to efficiently run MFI’s affiliate marketing programs
  • Plan and project manage all materials needed for the affiliate marketing program including but not limited to design assets, editorial content, advertising assets, etc.
  • Project manage affiliate marketing communication and production schedule and oversee delivery of all communication touch points
  • Research and recommend potential new affiliate relationships to expand affiliate program
  • Monitor reporting statistics; track and resolve issues as necessary
  • Review and validate data for affiliate partner payouts
  • Provide VIP support for existing and new affiliates as well as MFI customers referred by affiliates
  • Other duties as assigned

Necessary Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years relevant work experience in digital marketing and/or business development (affiliate marketing experience is preferred)
  • Proven ability to generate new business opportunities via affiliate partnerships
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing metrics
  • Experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives with solid judgment
  • Understanding of delivering high a quality experience to VIP partners
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct analysis and make strategic recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • You live and work within the continental US or Canada
  • Attention to detail

This is a virtual position working with our virtual team. You’ll have full autonomy over where you work, what you wear and which pet sits at your feet.
