Well hot DANG! It's a good day over here if I can toot my own horn for a minute!

My company that I started and founded back in April of 2015 just had its first $1 MILLION dollar year!! I started B-school back in 2012. At that time, that was the most I'd ever spent on my business. It was scary.

I remember crawling under my desk and my boyfriend walked in and was like "WTF are you doing?" Me: "Oh nothing, just crapping my pants about a course I just signed up for and sorta hyperventilating… you know!?" Looking back on it, it wasn’t actually the money. I think I was most scared about putting myself out there.

My path took many turns after signing up. After many business iterations I ended up full circle. And B-School was the start of it all. I learned that I was worth it, that I could go after what I wanted, and most importantly, I met some killer friends and resources along the way. B-School gave me such a big leg up it's hard to even find the words for it.

The big deal for me today was that I HIT MY GOAL (not that I made a million this year… although that's cool, too!) and I'm patting myself on the back for this.
