I have had so many ‘A-ha’ moments throughout the process of Booty Camp! Like many of you, I have so many interests and passions that seem unrelated on the surface -finance, real estate, football (I play professional women’s tackle football), health and wellness, building wealth, reading voraciously, writing (fiction), female entrepreneurship, there is more). But these things are all connected, at least through me. How I incorporate these things is what makes me unique and wonderful!

Another huge a-ha moment for me was saying and thinking ‘I know.’ I might know of something intellectually, but do not really KNOW. Unless you KNOW something to the point that it is second nature you don’t really KNOW it.

I rush and rush to ‘learn’ everything I can. At any given time, I am reading between 3 and 8 books. But I don’t really KNOW it until I put it into action. So, I am coming to realize that I know very little. And as I grow, there are so many different levels of KNOWING. I think that I could take one principle and just KNOW that one thing deeper and deeper each day. I could probably continue that process on ONE principle for the rest of my life.

Finally, multitasking has followed me through to my professional life. Allowing myself to do one thing at a time has given my brain such a vacation. I plan to keep letting it take that vacation too! I am so much more fulfilled in what I am doing. I have also started to notice more results, which oddly is just a side benefit!!! Its just FANTASTIC!

I first met Marie at Crunch Fitness in NYC about 7 years ago. In fact I was in the very first hop-hop class that she taught.
