I took B-School last year and it totally rocked my life. In six months I founded a non-profit and am killing it! The Edible Apartment is transforming old apartment building lawns in Los Angeles into thriving organic farms. Go us! The lessons I learned in B-School really helped me get clarity on my mission and how to execute that vision.

In six month's time, I've spoken at UCLA (at a nexus sponsored by NASA), was a featured presenter at five different environmental conferences, held classes here at our headquarters, hosted farm-to-table meals, hosted garden work days, and regularly receive “fan mail” from all over the world saying that what I'm doing is so inspiring and making a huge impact.

We were also a finalist in LA 2050's $100,000 grants challenge and have received generous funding from private donors, which has enabled the org to install more urban farms on apartment building land around LA. I've just scratched the surface!
