In December of 2011, I was laid off from my full time corporate job, which we took as a sign to go full-time with my photography business. I was terrified. I had zero money, and when I read about B-School, I had to work with my husband to even afford doing it – it was a HUGE chunk of change for me. I had never spent that much on growing my business, and the investment scared me more than anything.

The investment was well worth it, several times over. B-School is by far one of the best things I have ever done for my business. It was a complete mindset change, from “well I guess I’m a professional” to really knowing what the hell I was doing, and owning my business.

I go back year after year to pick up even more. My revenue has more than doubled every single year since 2011. This is my first year with six figure revenue, and I’m SO proud that we moved into a downtown studio in April!

My family and I travel consistently, and I have the flexibility to make my own schedule. I am able to be home most days when my son gets home from school – and am expecting our second child – and can BUILD my business around that, instead of working on someone else’s timetable.
