Personal Coaching - Frequently Asked Questions

What is The Good Life?

The Good Life is a lifestyle: a movement based in awareness, the power of Being, and the ease and brilliance of living in the present moment.

Our coaching, products, newsletters, resources and content are designed to inspire, entertain, educate, and support you to develop your full potential – personally & professionally.

Based on timeless wisdom and natural law, our do less, have more approach shatters the myth that lasting success is the result of hard work, striving and stress.

How does the do less, have more approach work?

It’s simple. When you get into the moment, (read: not thinking about the past or worrying about the future, but simply being aware and interested in what is going on in your life right here and now) you start living the good life.

Old habits drop away. Pesky problems begin to take care of themselves. You gain joy, clarity, and a sense well-being like never before. Happiness, satisfaction and fulfillment are no longer elusive. Relationships go from rocky to rock steady.

Good fortune sticks around like white on rice.

Yes. Paradoxical as it may seem, when you learn how to do less (thinking, stressing, worrying, second-guessing, over-analyzing, comparing, what-if-ing, procrastinating, arguing, complaining, should’ve-ing, could’ve-ing) you actually have more (productivity, love, satisfaction, relationship, fun, adventure, free time, success, fulfillment, wealth, accomplishment, health, results, serendipity, creativity, well-being).

What is coaching?

Coaching is a form of consulting which has synthesized the best concepts from business, sports, spirituality and mind-body health to help clients discover how to be more effective, productive and satisfied in every aspect of their life.

The do less, have more coaching approach is designed to help you:
  • Boost productivity
  • Strengthen your relationships
  • Communicate more clearly & effectively
  • Enjoy a sense of ease, aliveness and well-being
In addition to the above, I "stay with" my clients to:
  • Successfully navigate life’s inevitable changes and obstacles.
  • Support lasting growth in their personal and professional lives.
  • Strengthen their ability to be centered and in the moment regardless of the circumstance.
Between weekly coaching calls, my clients simply do less and have more and bring their wins, questions and challenges to the next call.

My clients are naturally brilliant and resourceful. My job is to provide the insight and guidance to enhance the skills and wisdom my clients already have.

Why is coaching so effective?

Coaching is effective because of three unique features:

Synergy: We become a team. The focus, support and candid feedback allows my clients to accomplish much more than they would alone.
Structure: With regular coaching calls, clients have a consistent, count-on-able venue to develop their ability to present in their lives while effortlessly dissolving habitual behaviors that hold them back from greater fulfillment and success.
Expertise: Through training, personal experience and work with other clients, I’m able to support you to make better decisions, speak and live your truth, and set-up your personal and professional life for maximum fulfillment and productivity.

What kind of people do you work with?

People who want big results in a fun and easy way. My clients are professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and business owners who are interested in seeing new possibilities in their life and who want to enjoy a consistent sense of happiness, well-being and success both at work and home.

How is this different than traditional therapy?

This is a radical departure from traditional therapy, which tends to focus on healing the past, resolving ‘issues’, and generally working hard to improve yourself to be a better, idealized version of you.

Therapy also includes processing your emotional history and/or diagnosing and treating mental health issues.

The Good Life is simply about self-discovery and is a lifestyle of training yourself to live in the present moment.

Like a muscle or ability, being present is a skill set that you develop by doing it. The foundation of being present is awareness.

With awareness, things that have historically gotten in your way of having true satisfaction, high productivity and rock solid relationships – most of which are currently hidden to you - can literally dissolve without you having to do anything.

(Hence: do less, have more)

Therapy also tends to be psychological - focused on “why” you are the way you are.

The Good Life is all about getting really interested in what “is”.

It requires very little effort and assumes you don’t have issues to work on and do not need to be changed or fixed in the first place.

What kind of results can I expect?

It’s really up to you.

People who are willing to own the do less, have more approach for themselves notice a quantum shift in the quality of lives after just one session.

As you become practiced and strengthen your ability to be present in your life, you’ll find:
  • You look and feel about 5-10 years younger. (really.)
  • Professional opportunities unfold effortlessly.
  • Relationships flourish.
  • Your productivity skyrockets.
  • You laugh a lot more & have more fun.
  • You earn and save more money.
  • Have more and better sex. (yes, really.)
The do less, have more lifestyle also has tremendous health benefits. Study after study have proven being in the moment (sometimes referred to as mindfulness…which is really mind-un-full-ness) to dramatically:
  • Reduce stress
  • Boost energy
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Increase blood circulation
  • Strengthen your immune system

What do you expect of your clients?

I expect my clients to accept full responsibility for their lives and be willing to ‘try on’ a new perspective to have the brilliance, ease and satisfaction they desire. It has been said that one definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. If you want different results, (i.e. more time, money, energy and satisfaction in your life) you need to try a different approach.

What can I expect from you, as the coach?

You can expect me to be:
Unconditionally constructive. No matter what happens during our call, you can expect me to say only those things that support your well-being. If you are disturbed, I do understand. If you can't wait to share a win, I will happily celebrate with you. I will not make you wrong, criticize you, complain to you or gossip about you.
Straightforward. Yes, one can be unconditionally constructive and still speak straight. From time to time, I will ask you to begin, end or modify something.

How do I get started?

You already have! The fact that you’re this far along in the site tells me that something resonates with you.
